⚔️ 5 Bosses in Sequence

THE FIVE KNIGHTS

Five Sequential Boss Encounters — Each Harder Than the Last

Difficulty: ★★★★★ Act: Act 3 Type: Sequential x5

How the Five Knights Fight Works

Unlike regular bosses, the Five Knights are fought in sequential encounters. You face all five knights one after another with no rest between fights. Each knight has a unique fighting style — some are fast, some tanky, some require specific damage types. Preparation and build optimization are critical.

💧

Knight 1: Mizu (水羽)

Mizu is the easiest knight — large, telegraphed attacks that are easy to read and parry. The main danger is the ground pound shockwave which requires a mid-air dodge.

Attack Patterns

Water Slash Combo

4-hit combo with wide horizontal slashes. Counter: Parry or sidestep through the combo.

Ground Pound (Danger!)

Mizu leaps up and slams the ground creating a shockwave. Counter: Jump and air-dodge horizontally to avoid the shockwave.

Water Wave

Projectile wave that travels along the ground. Counter: Jump over or dash through.

Knight 2: Balan (巴蘭)

⚠️ CRITICAL: Physical damage deals only ~10% damage! You need fire damage to effectively hurt Balan. Make sure you have fire-based Pyron skills unlocked before this fight.

Balan has 2 phases. Phase 2 introduces lightning attacks. Miyuso appears as an ally if you completed her side quest — she'll throw spears to pin the boss, making the fight significantly easier.

Attack Patterns

Lightning Slash

A quick slash that leaves a lightning trail. Counter: Parry or guard.

Lightning Aura (Phase 2)

Balan surrounds himself with lightning — touching him deals damage. Counter: Use ranged fire attacks, maintain distance.

Thunder Strike

Area denial attack — lightning strikes multiple locations. Counter: Keep moving, don't stand still.

Pro Tip: Miyuso Ally

Complete Miyuso's side quest before the Five Knights fight. She appears as an ally and pins Balan with spears, significantly reducing difficulty.

🔥

Knight 3: Chasa (查薩)

Chasa is a blade specialist with fast multi-hit combos and long reach. He has 2 phases. The key to this fight is reading his rhythm — quick draws vs slow draws have different timings.

Attack Patterns

Quick Draw (Fast Rhythm)

When Chasa raises his sword overhead before drawing — fast attack rhythm. Counter: Block or parry immediately.

Slow Draw (Slow Rhythm)

When Chasa holds sword at waist — slow attack rhythm. Wait for the draw, then counter.

Shadow Clone (Phase 2)

Chasa creates shadow images. Counter: Wait for the real sword glow — that's the real attack.

7-Hit Shield Break Combo

A long combo that can break guards. Counter: Use this to break enemy shields. The last hit is heavily telegraphed — dodge out.

🌿

Knight 4: Moldin (莫爾丁)

Moldin is a defensive specialist who counters aggressively. He punishes repeated attacks with guard breaks. Patience and timing are essential for this fight.

Attack Patterns

Guard Counter

Moldin raises his shield and waits for you to attack, then counters. Counter: Don't attack while his shield is up. Wait for him to drop it.

Vine Trap

Roots emerge from the ground. Counter: Dodge immediately. Don't stay in one place.

Nature Surge

A powerful overhead slam with area denial. Counter: Sidestep or jump backward.

🌍

Knight 5: Gaia (蓋婭)

Gaia is the final knight and the most challenging. She uses terrain manipulation and area denial to control the battlefield. Expect earthquakes, rock walls, and sweeping ground attacks.

Attack Patterns

Earthquake Slam

Gaia slams the ground causing seismic waves. Counter: Jump to avoid ground-based shockwaves.

Rock Wall Creation

Creates terrain obstacles. Can trap you. Counter: Destroy walls quickly or use mobility to avoid being cornered.

Gaia's Wrath (Ultimate)

A massive area denial attack. Counter: Run to the edge of the arena. Stay mobile.
