Aggressive Commander with Relentless Combo Strings
The Pyron Commander is an extremely aggressive boss with long combo strings. Key strategy: Distance management is crucial. Use the environmental pillars for cover, never try to out-damage this boss, and wait for safe openings. Patience is your greatest weapon.
A 4-hit combo with fire-infused sword strikes. Each hit deals burn damage.
Counter: The combo has a gap after the 2nd hit. Dodge sideways through the third strike to escape. Do not block all 4 hits — you will take massive damage and burn.
The commander slams their sword into the ground, sending a wave of fire toward you.
Counter: Jump over the wave OR dodge at the last moment. The wave is high enough to jump over if timed correctly. Running backward also works but is less safe.
The commander raises their sword and shouts, buffing nearby enemies and themselves.
Counter: Interrupt with a ranged attack if possible. If you can't interrupt, prepare for increased enemy aggression. Dodge immediately after the shout ends.
A rapid dash toward you with a flaming sword. The most dangerous attack.
Counter: Use pillars as cover. If no pillar available, dodge sideways at the last possible moment. The dash has poor vertical tracking, so jumping can also help.
This arena has environmental pillars that are essential for survival. The Pyron Commander's aggressive melee attacks can be blocked by pillars, giving you time to recover or strike.
Stay within 5 meters of a pillar. Never fight in the open.
