🛡️ A TIER - Beginner Friendly

THE TURTLE

Maximum Survivability Build

Difficulty: Easy Best For: Learning Tier: A

Build Overview

The Turtle is a defensive build designed for players who want to learn boss patterns without dying repeatedly. By stacking defensive parts, you become nearly invincible, allowing you to focus on observing attack patterns and improving your skills. This build is particularly effective against bosses like the Seed Bureau Chief where survival is more important than damage.

🎮 PLAYSTYLE GUIDE

1. Block First, Attack Second

Your primary focus is survival, not damage. Let enemies attack first, block their assault, then strike during their recovery. You can afford to be patient.

2. Dodge Sideways, Not Backward

Side dodges have i-frames and reposition you effectively. Backward dodges are slower and cover less distance. Practice dodging into attacks rather than away from them.

3. Observe Attack Patterns

Because you're taking reduced damage, you can afford to get hit while learning. Use this to observe boss attack patterns without dying. After a few runs, you'll know every attack.

4. Chip Away at Boss HP

Your damage output is low, so fights will take longer. Don't get frustrated — focus on consistent, safe damage rather than risky burst damage attempts.

🛡️ Turtle Build — Advanced Strategy

The "Don't Die" Rotation

The point of Turtle is to learn a fight. Once you can clear a boss in Turtle without dying, swap to Parry Master for the same boss to learn the parry timings, then Glass Cannon to learn the damage windows. The progression is intentional: each build tightens your time budget by ~30%, so mistakes are punished faster.
