Status Effect Build โ Control the Battlefield
The Curse Weaver is a control-oriented build that stacks multiple debuffs on enemies. Poison, burn, freeze, and curse effects accumulate, making bosses slow, weak, and vulnerable. Instead of burst damage, you deal continuous DPS over time while the boss struggles to fight back.
Poison Duration +30%
The foundation of Curse Weaver. Extends poison duration significantly, allowing more damage ticks over time. Apply poison early and let it drain boss HP.
Poison Damage +40%
Boosts poison damage per tick. Combined with Venom Coil, your poison becomes a serious damage source โ not just a minor irritation.
Debuff Duration +50%
All your debuffs last 50% longer. This includes poison, burn, slow, and any other status effect. Maximizes uptime of your control effects.
Multiple Debuffs
Enemies can be affected by multiple stacks of the same debuff. Apply poison 3-4 times and watch boss HP melt. Synergizes perfectly with the rest of Curse Weaver.
Each debuff type (poison, burn, etc.) has a base duration and damage per tick. With Curse Weaver parts, you extend these durations and increase their damage. The key is applying multiple stacks โ each stack refreshes and strengthens the debuff.
Poison Tick Damage ร (1 + Stack Multiplier) ร (1 + Curse Amplification)
Example: 50 base ร 2.0 (3 stacks) ร 1.2 (curse) = 120 damage per tick
At 5 ticks per second = 600 DPS from poison alone (before other debuffs)
Start every fight by throwing poison daggers or applying your primary debuff. Let it tick while you observe the boss. Don't rush damage โ establish control first.
Re-apply poison before the duration ends to stack effects. Each refresh adds another stack. Keep 3-4 stacks active at all times for maximum damage.
Your damage comes from poison ticks, not direct attacks. Position safely and let the boss HP drain. This build is perfect for players who prefer strategic positioning over aggressive play.
Curse Weaver is exceptional against bosses that drain your HP (like Seed Bureau Chief). Poison damage ticks while the boss is stuck in animations. The boss loses HP faster than you do.
The core combo โ duration and damage stack. More duration = more damage ticks. This is your primary damage source.
Debuff duration + multi-stack means you can stack 3-4 poison applications at once. Each stack refreshes the others, creating near-permanent poison.
Hybrid potential โ use Curse Weaver for damage and Turtle parts for defense. You're playing long fights, so survivability matters.
Curse Weaver is the safest Glass Cannon. The damage is over-time, not burst, which means you don't need to stay in melee range. The trade is boss-specific: if the boss moves around a lot or has a "cleanse" mechanic, your DoTs fall off and you're back to tickle damage.
Each tick of Plague Vessel + Hex Chip combo on a 4,000 HP boss:
Numbers above assume no boss cleanse, which is the curse of Curse Weaver. Five Knights' third knight has a 100% cleanse on enrage โ you lose the whole DoT stack.
This page. Best DoT uptime.
Use: Library Master, slow bosses.
Replace Plague Vessel with Pyron Core + DoT Catalyst. Burn vs. poison, both apply.
Use: vs. bosses with poison resist.
Add Berserker Gauge to stock. Stack DoT and burst.
Use: Ember Core phase 1 (no cleanse).
