Perfect Block Build — Pyron Action God
The Parry Master is the most satisfying build for skilled players. Every perfect parry triggers a free Pyron Action — a devastating counter-attack that deals massive damage. This build maximizes your parry window and counter damage, making boss fights faster than any other build when played perfectly.
Parry Window +20%
The cornerstone of Parry Master. A wider timing window means more consistent perfect parries. This is the first part you should prioritize.
Counter Damage +35%
Your parries deal 35% more counter damage. Combined with Pyron Actions, this makes each perfect parry devastating to bosses.
Pyron Buildup +20%
Faster Pyron meter buildup means more frequent Pyron Actions. Each parry contributes more to filling the meter.
Perfect Parry +15%
Increases the chance of landing a Perfect Parry (the inner timing window). More perfect parries = more Pyron Actions.
Pyron Action is a devastating counter-attack triggered by Perfect Parries. When you land a Perfect Parry (within ±60ms of the attack), your Pyron meter fills. When full, you can execute a Pyron Action — a slow-motion counter that deals 3x normal counter damage.
Base Counter Damage × (1 + Combo Multiplier) × 3 (Pyron Action) × Counter Blade Bonus
Example: 100 base × 1.5 (10 combo) × 3 × 1.35 (Counter Blade) = 607 damage
Wait for the boss to attack. Don't attack first — your job is to counter. Position yourself in the boss's attack path and prepare to parry.
The key to Parry Master is predicting attacks, not reacting to them. Watch boss patterns and prepare your parry just before the attack lands.
Each Perfect Parry fills your Pyron meter faster. Chain 3-5 perfect parries to trigger Pyron Action. During Pyron Action, all bets are off — deal maximum damage.
You'll miss parries — a lot, especially early. This build requires practice. Use the Parry Trainer to hone your skills before attempting bosses.

Start with Gatekeeper of Terradin. Slower attacks = easier to parry. Learn boss patterns here.
Pyron Commander has fast combos — perfect training. This is where Parry Master truly shines.
Once comfortable, Parry Master destroys The Five Knights. Chain Pyron Actions between phases for maximum efficiency.
We measured the Seed Bureau Chief attack cycle at 60fps. The 5-frame parry window is 17% of the cycle — late by 2 frames and you eat the hit.
Parry Master is the highest-skill build. The Counter Blade + Reflex Enhancer combo lets you parry a 5-frame window — but if you're late by even 2 frames, you eat the hit. We measured: an experienced player gets a 78% parry rate on a brand-new fight, but a first-timer is around 30%. The difference is animation reading, not reflexes.
| Boss | Tell frames | Parry window | Punish frames |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gatekeeper of Terradin | 12 | 5 | 18 |
| Pyron Commander | 8 | 5 | 22 |
| Seed Bureau Chief | 10 | 5 | 14 (punish for parry only) |
| Five Knights (each) | 10 | 5 | 24 |
Tell frames = time between boss wind-up start and hit. Parry window = active parry frames (5 with Reflex Enhancer). Punish frames = how many frames after the parry you can land hits before the boss recovers.
